- Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service – January 18, 2010 - Your students this fall can decide on an area of concern and can determine how they can make a difference. They can plan and organize a volunteer opportunity for the day this fall by working with an agency, CASLCE, or community partner. The projects will take place at the beginning of spring semester. Spring classes can serve on MLK Day and reflect on the experience after.

- Higher Education Day – March 4, 2010 - This is a great opportunity to have your students learn about the legislative process by lobbying their legislators, watching the debates on the House or Senate floor, and taking part in a rally. We can get an official letter of excuse for your students, and the SGA pays for the transportation.
