One of the ways the USA ACS Student Affiliates raises money for its various projects – most notably, sending its members to ACS national meetings – is by having car-washes. When the weather's warm enough, we get out in the parking lot of a local shopping center and have at it. We sometimes end up just as wet as the vehicles, but that's half the fun!
