Note: Criminal Justice majors are required to choose a minor as part of their degree program.
Typically, the number of hours required for a minor range from 18 to 21 hours. Each
department determines required courses for minors, and criminal justice majors must consult
the Bulletin of Information for the list of required courses in their minor. A minimum number
of 128 hours are required to graduate from the University of South Alabama with a major in
