Special Notes:
The Department of Radiologic Sciences offers two programs: a Certificate Program in Radiologic Technology and a BS in Radiologic Sciences. Students must successfully complete a Radiologic Sciences Certificate Program, or equivalent, in order to apply to the BS program. This Advising Guide includes transferable course work for both the Certificate Program and BS program.
The University of South Alabama will accept a maximum of 64 semester hours from a junior/community college.
No course in which a student has earned a grade of lower than "D" will transfer to the University of South Alabama. No grade lower than "C" will transfer in English Composition I & II (EH 101 & 102).
Completion of the courses listed in this Advising Guide does not guarantee completion of general education course requirements or admission into the certificate or B.S. programs.
The deadline to apply for the Radiologic Technology Certificate Program Component is May 15 prior to the Fall Semester that you intend to begin the certificate program, and the deadline to apply for the BS program in Radiologic Sciences is May 15 prior to the Fall Semester that you intend to begin the B.S. Program. Consult the USA Bulletin for complete application procedures and degree requirements.
