Admission
ACEP
(Accelerated College Enrollment Program)
 

 

High school seniors in Mobile or Baldwin County public or private schools may enroll tuition-free in one course during the senior year. Students will receive college credit which will be transferable to most accredited institutions.
 
The minimum qualifications are as follows:
Senior status in Mobile or Baldwin County public or private school
Minimum ACT composite score of 25 (or 1130 SAT)
Minimum 3.0 GPA in grades 9 through 11 (as computed by USA Admissions)
Counselor recommendation for the program
Completion of application procedures by the deadlines (July 30 for Fall Semester and November 15 for Spring Semester)
 
Applicants must:
Complete the application for admission by the deadlines
Submit official ACT or SAT scores
Submit official high school transcript
Submit counselor recommendation
 
A special orientation program is provided. Students are encouraged to consider afternoon courses to more easily fit their high school schedules, and because seat availability is more likely in the afternoon. Students are responsible for the costs of required textbooks and any special course materials and will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the University.
