Degree Requirements
Applying for Graduation

Students planning to graduate must apply for graduation according to the dates specified in the University Calendar. The calendar is found in the Bulletin and the Schedule of Classes. Failure to make application by these printed dates will cause a delay in scheduled graduation dates.

The application for graduation is filed with the Registrar's Office during the semester prior to the term of anticipated graduation (i.e., student planning to graduate Spring Semester would apply during the early part of Fall Semester). There is a $30 fee to file the application.

Midway through the semester of application, the college will run a CAPP compliance report. This will indicate the program and area requirements that have been met and not met. The student will be notified of the remaining requirements to complete the degree program.

Choice of Catalog - A student may graduate under any catalog from the time the student matriculates to the time he/she graduates. However, if a student is not enrolled in the University for a period of one calendar year or longer, the student must follow the requirements of the catalog in effect at the time of readmission or afterwards.
