Course Placement Computer Proficiency Examination   Students wishing to take CIS 250 (Advanced Computer Applications) must first take a computer science proficiency test. If the test is not passed, then the student is required to take CIS 150 (Intro to Computer Applications) prior to enrolling in CIS 250. Students whose academic program only requires CIS 150 can register for that course without taking the placement test.   The test is administered by the School of Computer and Information Sciences each term.
