Credits
earned in DS courses do not meet degree requirements.
However, the credits earned do carry institutional
credit and qualify for financial aid. Grades
earned are computed into the overall GPA in
most colleges and hours are counted toward classification
(freshman, sophomore, etc.).
|
| |
|
Students
admitted to the DS program are required to complete
Study Skills, Writing and a math sequence. Placement
testing determines the specific math courses
required.

|
The
counseling file remains in Developmental Studies
for at least two semesters. During that time,
the student's chosen program and major appear
on the system.
