Support Programs & Services Disabled Student Services   Location: Student Center, Room 270 (251) 460-7213 http://www.southalabama.edu/dss/   The University provides services to students who are physically, emotionally, or learning disabled. Students who register with this office must submit documentation regarding the disabilities.   Services provided are: • priority registration • counseling • advocacy • training • enlargements for the visually impaired • interpreters for the deaf • assistance in obtaining recordings for the blind • accommodations in and out of the classroom as covered under Section 504 of The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
