| Students
who score a minimum ACT English score of 27
or SAT verbal score of 550 will be exempt from
taking EH 101. Official scores should be mailed
to the Office of Admissions. Students must replace
the 3 semester hours for EH 101 with another
course if the minimum 128 hours for a degree
is not met. |

| Advanced
Placement (AP) credit for EH 101 and 102 (6
semester hours) may be awarded with a score
of "3" or higher. Official AP scores
mailed from the College Entrance Examination
Board are required. Note: Effective
with the admission of students Spring Semester
2005, AP credit will be awarded only in EH 101
(3 semester hours) for those students who score
4 or higher. |

| College
Level Examination Program (CLEP) credit for
EH 101 and 102 (6 semester hours) may be awarded
if a student earns a minimum score of 50 on
the English Composition - General Examination.
Official CLEP scores mailed from the Educational
Testing Service are required. |

International
Baccalaureate (IB) credit for EH 101 and 102
(6 semester hours) may be awarded if a student
completes the IB degree. If the student fails
to complete the IB degree, only EH 101 (3 semester
hours) will be granted. |

| Note:
No more than 32 semester hours are allowed for
credit received through any combination of AP,
CLEP, IB, credit by exam, correspondence courses,
military service, or other non-collegiate credit
combination. |
