Course Selection Graduate Study for Advanced Undergraduates An undergraduate student may register for graduate courses under the following circumstances: • has completed at least 96 semester hours; • has at least a 3.00 or "B" average; • the total load does not exceed 12 semester hours; • permission is obtained from the department chair and the director of graduate studies; and • the same course may not be counted both as undergraduate and graduate credit. It may count toward a graduate degree if the course was not used to satisfy requirements for the undergraduate degree.
