Admission Graduate Students   Regular Admission • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, as computed by the Office of Admissions • Completion of sufficient courses in the major subject to qualify for graduate study • Recommendation of the Director of Graduate Studies and approval by the Graduate Dean • TOEFL scores of 525 or above for international students, or a bachelor's or graduate degree earned in the U.S.   Provisional Admission All of the above requirements, except: • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50, or 2.75 on the last 64 semester hours of college work.   Note: To change from provisional to regular status, student must accrue a minimum of 9 semester hours of USA work with at least a "B" average. No more than 15 semester hours of graduate credit earned as a provisional student may be approved for change to regular status. Approval by the Director of Graduate Studies and the Dean of the college is required.   Non-Degree Admission Holds bachelor's degree, but not planning to earn graduate degree, or needs to complete prerequisites for a particular degree program. • Enrollment may be limited by the academic unit for non-degree graduate students • Permission to register for each course is required • Those later seeking a graduate degree must file an application with the Office of Admissions. A maximum of 15 semester hours earned as a non-degree student may be applied toward the graduate degree. • International students must submit TOEFL test scores of 525 or above, or have a bachelor's or graduate degree earned at an accredited U.S. college.   Transient • Must be in good standing in the graduate school of another university and have permission of the Dean of the Graduate School at USA.
