AED will be using the credit system to determine members' active status and participation.

AED Membership Requirements

  • For those members seeking "active" status: 5 meeting credits, 5 service credits, 3 fundraising credits, 1 campus involvement credit, and pay annual dues.

  • Service credits awarded for each event will be decided by the service coordinator.

  • Membership dues are to be paid by the 3rd meeting and is a requirement to becoming a member. It's $18 for the entire year, $10 for the semester. If late, it becomes $20 for the year and $12 for the semester. If you wish, you may pay $20 for the whole year and recieve an AED car decal.

  • “Other” credits may be earned through extra activities and meetings, gifts of the month, fundraisers, and intramurals. For intramurals, one credit may be earned for playing, and half a credit will be awarded for watching a game and supporting the team. Anything you participate in (community activities, campus activities, AED/BMD picnics, etc) gives you one credit.

  • Each meeting you attend gives you one meeting credit. If you have a time conflict with the meetings because of a class, please contact Rylee.

  • Fundraiser credits are worth one hour or half an hour. It will vary from event to event. Bringing one item to a bake sale is half a credit and helping to fundraise for two or more hours will yield one fundraising credit. Items brought must be home-baked and individually wrapped.

  • For inquiries of credit amounts, please contact Patricia Hudson.
