Biography 
Dr. Aliabadi earned a Ph.D. in Microbial Genetics from West Virginia University/Marshall University, a Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from the University of Tehran, and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Alabama.  She held postdoctoral fellowships at Marshall University School of Medcine and the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.  Dr. Aliabadi has  been a faculty member in the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and she is currently Principal Investigator and Associate Director of the Diabetic Foot Care Program at the University of South Alabama in addition to her appointment in Biomedical Sciences
