Research Interests:

Currently working on developing a battery tests for assessing functional mobility.  This work is a joint project with Jorunn Helbostad, PhD, from the Department of Neuroscience, Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim and Professor Phillip Rowe from the Department of Bioengineering, University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Gold Medal for 1976-77 was awarded by the Institution of Engineers (India) for the paper "Bioengineering and Bone" Journal of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA) 57 IDGE 1, 8-14, 1976.

Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Scholar of the Year, 1992, University of South Alabama.
