Diabetes Philanthropic Activities
Along with many smaller fundraisers such as bake sales and car washes, Theta Epsilon holds two major events each year to raise money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation in support of diabetes education and research: Alpha Gamma Delta Spaghetti Dinner in the Fall Semester and the Alpha Gamma Delta Kickball Tournament in the Spring Semester. |

Alpha Gamma Delta Spaghetti Dinner
ΑΓΔ Spaghetti Dinner is held once a year in the Fall. It is our main event for the Fall. We sell tickets for $4 a plate, which can be bought in advance or at the door. The spaghetti is homemade; cooked and served by us! We raise our money through t-shirt sales, ads, and the food that we serve. The proceeds are donated to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. It's a great campus-wide event. Families come too. This year our Spaghetti Dinner will be hosted in November. |

Alpha Gamma Delta Kickball Tournament
Every Spring Semester Theta Epsilon holds its annual kickball tournament. The event includes both Greek and Independent teams competing in a mini kickball tournament. We receive donations from the community to raffle off as part of the fundraising process. We hosted our fifth annual kickball tournament on Friday, April 13, 2007. Because it was held on Friday the 13th, it was Halloween themed, and participating teams were asked to come in costume. Congratulations to Chi Omega for winning First Place and Best Costume! |

Miscellaneous Philanthropic Activities
The Theta Epsilon Chapter does more than just raise money for diabetes. We participate in the philanthropic events of other sororities and fraternities on campus such as Chi Omega's annual SongFest and Alpha Omicron Pi's annual Softball Tournament. We also do various service projects and fundraisers for local worthy causes, such as trick-or-treating for the Alabama Baptist Children's Home. |
