Welcome to our website! We are the ladies of the Gamma Delta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of South Alabama. My name is Jennifer Seymour and I am the current Chapter President.  Our chapter’s biggest pride is in how we are diverse; the different pieces of our lives fit together perfectly and allow our sisterhood to shine. We truly treasure each member because she brings a different aspect to our chapter. Here are just a few of our accomplishments over the past year:

Last fall we were able to work together and win 2nd place in Chi Omega's Songfest song and dance competition.  In April of this year, we won 1st place in Pi Kappa Alpha's annual Pikefest dance competition, 1st place overall, and we also received the Best Participation award.  Most recently, we won 1st Place in Sigma Chi's Derby Days dance competition as well as 1st Place for our kickline during the performance.
In addition to helping out with other sororities and fraternities' philanthropy events on campus, we also help out other organizations.  Our chapter was proud to participate in Relay for Life and the local Arthritis Walk this spring.  Because cancer has affected everyone in some way or another and arthritis is our philanthropy, we were more than happy to assist with these events this year. In April we held our annual Strike Out Arthritis! Softball Tournament to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation.  We were able to raise over $4,500 this year, and 100% of the proceeds will be given to the Alabama Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.

We are also very proud to say that we achieved the 2nd highest GPA among Panhellenic sororities on campus for the Spring and Fall 2010 semesters, as well as the Spring 2011 semester!  We all wish you the best of luck in going through USA's 2011 Formal Recruitment.
