Be in the know… We offer many ways to share in the ongoing discovery of the region’s collective heritage. Become a friend of the museum and support these programs.

  • Public talks, demonstrations, and performances at The Archaeology Museum
  • School visits (all grades; public, private, and home schooled)
  • Special events – natural history bike rides, artifact identification days, Science Cafes, National Archaeology Day activities
  • Volunteer opportunities at the University of South Alabama’s Center for Archaeological Studies

Archaeology Advocate Information

Since the Museum is now on the cusp of opening, there is a unique chance to belong to a special category, Founding Advocate, if you join at the Circle levels in 2012. Founding Advocates will receive a limited edition 1701 French colonial lead seal reproduction.
