Structure 1, excavated in 1989, was a three-room building. The excavation team is standing in the central room, which had a wooden floor. To the front was a large bedroom that shared a fireplace with the central living room. A second bedroom occupied the remaining space, to the rear. In the background, a fence enclosed a garden.
