The following 20 photographs show various scenes from the different communities along Mobile Bay's eastern shore, from Bay Minette to Foley.  

This image from the turn of the twentieth century shows one of the resort hotels that used to stand along the Magnolia River in Magnolia Springs. The town gots its name from the natural springs in the area and from the abundance of magnolia trees that lined the river's bank. Lois Slosson Sundberg Collection.
