| About the Archives The
University of South Alabama Archives houses primary source material relating
to the history of Mobile and south Alabama and to the University's history. The Archives
is located on the ground floor of the USA Springhill Campus (1504 Springhill Avenue) and
is open to the public. Researchers will find it convenient to enter via the Lafayette
Street entrance and take the elevator to the ground floor. There is free parking across

Springhill Avenue from I-65. Turn right onto Springhill Avenue off the ramp and head east
to Lafayette Street (approximately 4 miles). Turn left on Lafayette. The parking lot is on
