About BSA
The Biology Student
Association is for anyone who is interested in Biology. Throughout the semester, will we be
participating in community service activities and fundraising events (one of
each per month). BSA will hold bimonthly
meetings in the form of social and formal meetings. All of these meetings will be at 6pm on
Wednesdays (see schedule below). The social meetings are very relaxed; we meet for
dinner and you may come and go as you please.
At the formal meetings a guest speaker is invited to come speak about
various fields of Biology. Pizza and
refreshments are provided at the formal meetings.
Membership Requirements:
Attend 4
meetings/semester- includes formal and social
Participate in 3 events- at
least 1 service and 1 fundraising, the third is your choice
Pay dues- $8/semester or
$10/year
*Note: you must pay dues
to receive a t-shirt and you must fulfill the membership requirements to be recognized
as a “member”
