Supervised clinical practice in phlebotomy, generalist environment, and an
area outside the main clinical laboratory. Taught in Spring Semester.
Duration: 2 weeks.
Note: Clinical Laboratory Sciences students also gain
experience in all aspects of blood collection and specimen processing,
including phlebotomy, capillary collection, and other procedures for
obtaining specimens. Hours and requirements are arranged at the clinical
training sites in conjunction with practicum course schedules.
