The Dramatic Arts programs are designed to help the student develop a knowledge of, and a proficiency in, the arts of the theatre.
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) allows the student to gain a better understanding of the theatre, while the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) provides professional training in the same field. Both include lectures, workshops, and practical experience in all phases of the theatre.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELOR OF
ARTS DEGREE IN DRAMA

A minimum of 54 quarter hours in Dramatic Arts, including DRA 100, 101, 102, 110, 120, 130, 131, 210, 240, 250, 330 or 430, 350, 351, and 352.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR IN DRAMA
A minimum of 32 quarter hours in Dramatic Arts, including DRA 100, 101, 110, 120, 130, 210, 240, and 250.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR IN DRAMA WITH
A CONCENTRATION IN DANCE

A minimum of 36 quarter hours, including DRA 100, 104, 105, 106, 120, 204, 205, 206, PE 113, and 5 quarter hours selected from PE activity courses in dance.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS DEGREE IN THEATRE ARTS
General and Core requirements as listed here and other theatre courses as approved. A minor is not required.
