1998-1999 Bulletin Information
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS
The formal listing for the Department of Economics is located in the College of Business and Management Studies. Students in Arts and Sciences majoring in economics must complete a minimum of 33 semester hours including the following:

ECO 215, 216 Principles of Economics I, II
ECO 315 Intermediate Microeconomics
ECO 316 Intermediate Macroeconomics
ECO 491 History of Economic Thought
ST 210 Basic Statistics or equivalent

and, at least fifteen hours of upper-level economics electives, 301 or above.

Those students minoring in economics must complete a minimum of 21 hours in economics courses including ECO 215, 216, 315, 316, and at least nine hours of upper-level economics electives.
