Rules and Regulations
No tobacco allowed anywhere in the Rec. Center
No food or drink allowed outside lounge area
No shoes other than non-marking court shoes allowed on basketball or racquetball courts.
No bare feet.
No one other than Rec. Center employees are to move Rec. Center equipment.
Patrons may check-out recreational equipment at the front desk with ID.
Anyone checking out equipment is responsible for that equipment.
If the equipment is not returned or is returned in damaged condition, payment must be made per the assessed replacement cost.
Conduct Policy
Disruptive behavior or behavior that is in violation of the student code of conduct is not permitted in the Student Recreation Center or in any program sponsored by the Department of Campus Recreation. Anyone facing sanctions due to participation in prohibited conduct will have the opportunity to present his/her defense arguments to the Director of Campus Recreation. The Director will then make the final decision as to whether or not sanctions will be imposed.
Locker Policy
Due to limited spaces, lockers may only be utilized on a daily basis, excluding the rental lockers. Rental lockers are $15.00 per semester. No locks are to be left on non-rented lockers overnight.
Racquetball Court Policies
The Student Recreation Center has racquetballs and tennis balls for purchase.
They may not be checked out.
Racquetball Reservations Procedure – For reservations call 460-6065
1. Patrons may reserve racquetball courts up to 72 hours in advance.
2. Any reservations made more than an hour in advance will be assessed $1.00.
3. The reservation fee must be paid within the hour of the reservation time prior to playing.
Fees will not be accepted prior to this time.
4. Patron reserving a court must give their name, the date, and the time they wish to use the court.
5. There is a ten-minute grace period on all court reservations.
6. Patrons who “NO SHOW” a reservation may be denied the right to reserve a court for the
remainder of the semester or until the reservation fee is paid. Cancellations must be made in
person or by telephone at least one hour before the scheduled playing time.
7. There is no charge for court use.
8. Weekdays 3:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. individuals may only reserve a court for one hour at a time.
After they complete their first game, they may then reserve for another hour.
