
The Council of International Student Organizations was created in 1987 in order to provide a stage for people with different cultural backgrounds to exchange ideas and cultivate relationships. CISO comprises of all active International Student Organizations on campus and every international Student is a part of it. With over a thousand members, CISO is the third largest organization on campus after the Student Goverment Association (SGA) and the Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA).
The Organization has always been highly active. CISO made it possible for the international students thrice, in 1994, 2000, and then in 2002. It takes part in all sorts of fundraisers and performs philanthropic acts as well.
