External High Frequency Ventilation (HFV): comparative efficacy of the various forms of external (around the chest wall) HFV. Definition of its role in management of lung surfactant depleted conditions.

Role of High Frequency Ventilation in an animal model of meconium aspiration pneumonia and pulmonary hypertension.

Role of various forms of non-conventional methods of respiratory support (i.e. high frequency ventilation, continuous flow apneic ventilation, liquid ventilation) to enhance the beneficial effect of exogenous surfactant treatment.

Role of High Frequency Ventilation in an animal model of meconium aspiration pneumonia and pulmonary hypertension.

Role of modificators of hypoxic vasoconstriction reflex on the effect of nitric oxide.

Role of macrophages in ventilator induced lung injury.
