Our general use media is used for all of the rat and mouse cells we culture.
ENDOTHELIAL CELL MEDIA
Normal cell culture media contains (DMEM, 10% FBS, 1% Pen/Strep).
- 500 mL DMEM
- 50 mL FBS
- 5 mL pen/strep
The media is usually changed every 3-4 days, by aspirating off old media and replacing with
fresh media (15 mL for T-75 flask).
Media is stored at 4 degrees C, and warmed in a 37 degree C water bath prior to use.
Remember to use only sterile supplies and reagents and to work under a cell culture hood to maintain sterile conditions.
