The Advising Center provides academic advising services to students enrolled in the College of Education. Advisors assist and support students in developing and pursuing their educational goals. The staff of the Advising Center also serves as a resource for students in need of referral to other services offered on campus.
Undergraduate students in the College of Education are assigned an academic advisor during orientation. This is the student's primary advisor through General Education and Pre-Candidacy courses. Upon admission to candidacy, students are assigned a faculty advisor to assist them with remaining portion of their program.
Graduate students in the College of Education are assigned a faculty advisor after admission to the university.
All students can locate the name of their assigned advisor in the General Student Information section of Student Records in PAWS.
