Biographical Information
Mrs. Barter has been affiliated with the Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross for 35 years and served as Chair for the Health and Safety Services Division for 20 years. Mrs. Barter has instructed more than 400 classes certifying over 500 persons annually in lifesaving skills through the American Red Cross and through her active involvement in community service. She has significant teaching experiences in health, safety, and physical education courses and her past experiences in college coaching at the university level adds to her teaching expertise.
