Concept Mapping

     We talked about organizing strategies in unit 3. Organizing information is an important strategy. Concept maps are another way to plan or diagram ideas. In this section we will discuss various ways to map these ideas and various kinds of concept maps.

Objectives

•  Discriminate between Concept Mapping and other I&LS

•  Identify three different kinds of Concept Maps 

•  Apply a Spider Map, Chain Map, and Hierarchical Map correctly to three different types of content

•  Create a collaborative and/or individual scenario using Concept Mapping
