  • Given tasks and opportunities.
  • Given information resources and support.
  • Encouraged to construct their own version of the content, subject to revision through feedback.
  • Allowed multiple paths through the lesson.
  • Encouraged to collaborate with other learners.
  • Suggested to acquire the information needed from several sources.
