• Attend all training sessions relevant to mentoring program (twice per semester)

• Meet weekly with mentors at school sites

• Complete evaluations at each training session

• Complete self-report questionnaires regularly throughout the program

• Participate in interviews and focus group sessions with project staff

• Request assistance proactively from mentor related to teaching, school and community culture, working with other school personnel, and any other personal or professional issue

• Schedule classroom observations with mentor teacher

• Schedule and attend sessions with the mentor teacher to review observations

• Schedule observations with other experienced teachers, including the mentor teacher

• Conduct self-assessments and participate in reflective exercises to enhance teaching skills

• Participate in the evaluation of the mentoring program
