| Pathway to Science (PTS) is a collaborative program between the National Science Foundation, the University of South Alabama (USA) Colleges of Education and Arts & Sciences, the Alabama State Department of Education through its Alabama Math Science and Technology Initiative (AMSTI), and the Mobile County Public Schools (MCPSS). Pathway to Science will address the desperate need to increase the number of science teachers in the MCPSS through enabling recent science bachelor’s degree graduates to complete secondary science certification in an intensive four-semester program that culminates with certification and an earned master’s degree. |
