Bio

Lieutenant Colonel Hall assumed duties as Department Chair and Professor of Military Science at the University of South Alabama in Mobile on 20 August 24, 2018. He is native of Crestview, Florida. He received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in May 2000 from Troy State University in Troy, AL and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Additionally, He holds a Masters in Management from Webster University.

 

After commissioning, Lieutenant Colonel Hall was fortunate to spend nearly eight years in 1st Cavalry Division, 115th Brigade Support Battalion, where he served in various command and staff positions. Following 1st Cavalry Division command, He served in First Army, Division West, 283rd Training support Battalion as an Observer Controller, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

After attending the Command and General staff College, he reported to Fort Bragg, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division and served as Brigade Support Operation Officer (SPO) and Bridge S4 deploying in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Following his assignment in 82nd Airborne Division, Lieutenant Colonel Hall served as the Executive Officer to the Assistant Chief of Staff, G4, Eighth United States Army, Yongsan, Korea. After his assignment in Korea, He was selected by the Commandant of the U.S. Army Ordnance School to command the Ordnance Training Detachment Fort Sill, Ok. Following command, He served as the Brigade Executive Officer, 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
 
Lieutenant Colonel Hall has a variety of training and real-world deployment experience to include multiple combat rotations to Iraq and Afghanistan in tactical units.

Lieutenant Colonel Hall’s military education includes the. Ordnance Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, Joint Planner Course (3H), Support Operations Officer Course, and the Command and General staff College.

Lieutenant Colonel Hall’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (2OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (4OLC) Army Achievement Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Combat Action Badge and US Army Parachutist Badge.

 

Lieutenant Colonel Hall is married to the former Tammie Lowery of Grady, AL. LTC and Mrs. Hall have two daughters.
