CEO wants to inspire students to take initiative and create an entrepreneurial future. Colleges around the nation are generating more interests in entrepreneurship in hopes to bring back the American dream, but these students aren't dreaming they are creating. We want our South Alabama Jaguars to be a part of the national craze, and join our local chapter.
According to the 2011 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) U.S. Report, younger adults (18-24 years old) are more likely to start a business, and college graduates or those pursuing higher education are particularly more included to pursue entrepreneurship.
With this increased attention, it is more important than ever to give students the opportunities to network not only with their student peers, but with fellow entrepreneurs in the business world to promote entrepreneurship at all levels and in all environments.
Our local CEO student organization can give you the opportunity to be involved with several governance's including:
- Professional speaker series
- Movie nights
- Field trips
- Student competitions
- Officer roles
- A seat on the student Melton Center board
