Faculty Recital - "Piano vs. Viola: A Romantic Duel" - Sep 16 at Laidlaw!

On Tuesday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m., new faculty pianist Jasmin Arakawa and her husband, composer/violist Rudolf Haken, will present a piano-viola duo recital at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. The program will include Brahms' Sonata op. 120, no. 2, the Haken Concerto in F, and a Paganini-Liszt "duel" featuring two Caprices and La Campanella in versions for piano and five-string viola.
 
Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only.  Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).  Persons needing more information about this event or in need of special accommodation may call (251) 460-7116 or (251) 460-6136.
