Thomas L. Rowell, tenor, will present his annual USA faculty voice recital on Friday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the recital hall of Laidlaw Performing Arts Center.  Guest performers will be mezzo soprano Anne Duraski, who is on the music faculty at Auburn University, violinists Barbara Flechsenhar and Elizabeth French, violist Julie Marks, and cellist Tobin Nelson.  The program will consist of two major vocal chamber works of British composers -- Benjamin Britten's Canticle II: Abraham and Isaac, and Ralph Vaughan Williams' On Wenlock Edge.
 
Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only.  Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).  Persons needing more information about this event or in need of special accommodation may call (251) 460-7116 or (251) 460-6136.
