Elizabeth Moak, Guest Faculty Piano Recital - November 14 at 7:30

Elizabeth Moak, piano professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, will perform a Guest Faculty Piano Recital in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall on Friday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. The program will feature works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and a set of pieces by living composer Judith Zaimont, with whom Dr. Moak has worked directly and whose music she has recently recorded.
After teaching at Millsaps College for eight years, Dr. Moak joined the piano faculty at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Peabody Conservatory, where she studied with Leon Fleisher, Julian Martin and Ann Schein.
Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).
