On Tuesday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall, Dr. Andra Bohnet. Professor of Music, will present her faculty flute recital assisted by pianist Dr. Jasmin Arakawa. All of the works on the program will reference times and moods of the diurnal/nocturnal cycle. Featured works on the program will include “Orange Dawn” by Ian Clarke, "D’un matin de printemps" (A Morning in Spring) by Lili Boulanger and "A Late Summer Night's Dream" by Gary Schocker. In addition, Bohnet and Arakawa will be joined by Dr. Kip Franklin, clarinetist, for Debussy's "Prelude à l’après-midi d’un faune" (Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun) and flutist Travis Jones for "Au Delá du Temps" (Transcending Time) by Yuko Uebayashi.

Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).
