in General Internal Medicine

The Medical Alumni Association is pleased to announce the College of Medicine is honoring one of our distinguished faculty members - Dr. John Bass - by establishing an endowment in his honor. A momentum was building among his colleagues and alumni to recognize his notable and lengthy career in academic medicine. After a career of thirty-four years with the University of South Alabama (and counting), it is no surprise Dr. Bass designated education in the Department of Internal Medicine as the recipient of this fund

During the Annual Alumni Weekend, Dr. Bass stated, “medical education has been his life” and “he takes great pride in the accomplishments of those he has been honored to teach”. As one of his former students - we hope you will consider contributing to the Bass endowment.
