The USA College of Medicine offers these special courses for college undergraduates and medical students.
 

Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)

Undergraduate students interested in research and future graduate training in a doctoral program can apply for a number of summer research opportunities in the College of Medicine and across the USA Campus. In general, these offer stipends for 10 weeks of full-time research and related activities. Competitive students will be in excellent academic standing at their respective undergraduate institution.

Summer Research Program

A 10 week program which allows incoming freshman and rising sophomore medical students to gain a better appreciation for biomedical research and the contribution it makes to the applied science that is needed to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
