COC Meeting Minutes

 January 24, 2007 3:30PM

3:34PM- Paul McGowan, President calls meeting to order and introduces new Vice President.

3:35PM- Staci Balsan, VP informs the group that the Humanities bathroom remodeling was complete and accessible.

3:37PM- Fire evacuation policy for those with disabilities was discussed. Contact Bill Guess

3:38PM- the lack of full handrails on stairs at Messier Hall was discussed. CONTACT Bill Guess

3:40PM- Membership dues will be $10.00 per year announced.

3:41PM- SGA funding was decided against

3:42PM- Paul McGowan discussed the College of Nursing (CON) incident / Ms. Agnew spoke of HIPPA laws which prevents disclosing disability status which was alleged by CON.

3:37PM - COC website progress

3:54PM- Brian Holbert demonstrated his Force-Feedback mouse

4:07PM- Meeting with Dr. Theodore regarding accessibility of the new Rec. Center scheduled

4: 07PM- Member Dirisu Musa asked to speak about the CON incident.

4:25PM- Motion to adjourn
