Heather Shapiro - A C O C Standout for Spring 2007
Heather Shapiro, a standout senior at South Alabama , has served for four years in key leadership positions on the campus. In 2004-2005 she sat on the University Disciplinary Committee (UDC) as an Associate Justice, in 2004-2005 she served as the JP Liaison to the Video Gamers Alliance (VGA), in 2004-2006 she served as the chair for the Horizons Committee in charge of lectures, debates, and forums, she served as a member of the SGA Safety and Improvement Committee in 2004-2005, and finally, in 2006-2007 she served as the President of Jaguar Productions.
Heather is majoring in Sociology and she currently holds a 3.0 GPA and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma honor society in 2004. In addition to her Sociology major she has also completed work in two minors: Criminal Justice and Psychology. Heather has plans to continue her education after her graduation in May of 2007 following a short break from college.
