Community College Transfer Scholarships
(for students paying IN-STATE tuition)

  • For community college students enrolling in the fall semester.
  • Provides $1,500 per year scholarship for up to two years.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.50 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.
  • Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.
  • Fill out the Transfer Scholarship Application.

(for students paying OUT-OF-STATE tuition)

  • For community college students enrolling in the fall semester.
  • Provides $3,000 per year scholarship for up to two years.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.50 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.
  • Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarships
(for students paying IN-STATE tuition)

  • Available to Phi Theta Kappa members enrolling in the fall semester.
  • Provides $2,000 scholarships annually for up to two years.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.50 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.
  • Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.
  • Phi Theta Kappa members must submit a letter of recommendation from your PTK college advisor.
  • Fill out the Transfer Scholarship Application.

  • Available to Phi Theta Kappa members enrolling in the fall semester.
  • Provides $4,000 scholarships annually for up to two years.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.50 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.
  • Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.

All-State Academic Team 1st & 2nd Team
(for students paying IN-STATE tuition)

  • Available to All-State CC Academic Team members.
  • Provides $1,000 per year scholarship for up to two years.
  • Minimum GPA of a 3.75 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.
  • Must provide documentation of All-State Academic 1st or 2nd Team.
  • Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.

  • SCIS Sponsored Scholarships (Computer and Information Sciences)

SCIS Sponsored Transfer Scholarships – The School of Computer and Information Sciences awards scholarships in amounts ranging up to $3,000 to students who transfer into the USA and pursue a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
