Culinary Medicine

Nancy Brumfield, Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Oncology NutritionRegister now for this two-session course on culinary medicine and learn how to prepare  delicious and affordable meals that combat chronic disease and support good health.  This is a hands-on course, with students actively engaged in instructor-led discussions and practicing cooking techniques based on the Mediterranean Diet.  *Space is limited, so register early.

Dates:  March 5 and 12, 4:30 – 6:30 pm.

Cost: $35. Please register by March 2.

Instructors:  Nancy Brumfield, Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition, Mitchell Cancer Institute, and Ed Douglas, Director, Coastal Alabama Community College, Gulf Shores Campus.  

Location: Coastal Alabama Community College, 3301 Gulf Shores Parkway. The course will meet in Frederic’s on the south end of the Hospitality Building (the building on the left as you come on campus).
