Attending Orientation is mandatory for new incoming English Language Center students (and returning ELC students who have not registered in previous two terms).  Orientation provides vital information for placement testing, advising, registration for classes, SEVIS registration, maintaining your immigration status, immunization requirements, parking services,  health insurance requirements, and much more!  All new English Language Center students should make plans to attend.  Click here for the current English Language Center schedule.
US Customs and Border Patrol announced the automation of Form I-94 in April, 2013. This means it will no longer be necessary for affected visitors to complete a paper form when arriving to the United States by air or sea.  US CBP will continue to stamp your passport with your date and status of entry.  If your Port of Entry has automated this process, you will be need to retrieve and print an electronic record of your I-94 after arrival online.

All international students in the English Language Center are automatically enrolled in the University's health insurance plan upon registration.  For students whose insurance coverage is sponsored under a Government Scholarship Letter/Financial Guarantee Letter this documentation must be provided no later than the first day of classes along with a copy of the actual insurance card.  Again, this information must be received PRIOR to the first day of classes for the enrolled semester and or subsequent terms or as requested.  Scholarship/Financial Guarantee supported international students are responsible for all premiums and fees billed to their accounts if such documents are not received as requested.
