Vandercook Centenary Print Bundle

March 1, 2010 – April 30, 2010 (Third Floor Gallery, Display Cases)

Vandercook Centenary Print Bundle celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Vandercook Press.  One hundred broadsides printed on 100 Vandercook presses across the globe were displayed in the University Library. The collection was assembled by Paul Moxon (MFA, MLIS), a graphic designer and studio letterpress printer. He conducts workshops at book arts centers and universities throughout the U.S. and publishes limited edition books and broadsides under the imprint Fameorshame Press. Paul also produces exceptional short-run printing for designers, publishers and discerning individuals nationwide under the name "Think Letterpress." This exhibition is an outgrowth of research disseminated through his website and blog: Vandercookpress. He now lives in Mobile.
