The Department of Marketing received a $2,500 grant from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, Inc. to support the sponsorship of a sales and marketing career fair.  Our 2016 Sales Career Expo is scheduled for March 31st from 9-11:30 in the Mitchell College of Business.

The Mitchell College of Business is making a conscious effort to increase quality study abroad opportunities for our students. These include the development of a portfolio of partner schools for student semester studies abroad, short-term faculty exchange, and collaborative faculty research projects.

MCOB Student Organizations Helping Others During the Holidays

For the past few years, Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Fraternity, has sponsored an Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This past November accounting students donated 2,878 pounds of food to the Bay Area Food Bank. This is enough food to provide 2,200 meals to families who need a helping hand. Special thanks to all who donated.

Faculty News

Dr. Mark Segal retired on 1 January 2016. Mark joined the faculty at USA on 1 SEP 1986. Mark taught tax courses to thousands of students over his career. Mark is most noted for his research and was twice named researcher of the year in the Mitchell College of Business.
